Auction Sites Discovery

I discovered three of the big auction sites - Ebay, uBid.com, and Bidz.com several years back and have been frequenting these sites ever since. Originally, I was just a buyer, seeking out great deals on software, video games, baseball cards, toys and ebooks. But I have since  explored many auction resources and lots of other auction categories on Ebay, Bidz.com, and uBid.com for the sheer entertainment of it. I have discovered interesting niches and some very weird items.

Auction sites are not only fascinating, but they are big business. They not only offer nice income to the owners of the auction sites, but also to anyone who wishes to sell items through an auction. I have dabbled in the sells end over the past year and have read many auction ebooks as well as have done research. I have found quite a few valuable auction ebooks, resources, software, and internet services to show sellers how to run their auction business more profitably. I have also found auction resources to teach bidders how to bid to win and services that would help auction site owners promote their auctions. Most of these auction resources are geared toward Ebay, but the information and some of the services can be used on Bidz.com, uBid.com, Amazon auctions, Yahoo auctions, and many other auction sites. I am building this website to share these auction resources with anyone who wants to learn more about the auction site arena.  One suggestion:  The quickest way to learn the ropes in the auction world is to start bidding on a few items and to actually put a few items up for auction. Experience is the best teacher. Pick an auction site and get started. If you don't have luck with your items, you can always try one of the other auction sites. Take a look around Ebay, Bidz.com, uBid.com, Amazon Auctions, and Yahoo Auctions. I will be posting more information about these sites in the future, and will also be introducing some up and coming auction sites that we should keep an eye on.
